The prestige cuvee by Billecart-Salmon was produced for the first time in 1964 as a tribute to the founder of the domain: Nicolas François. The grapes come from grand cru and premier cru vineyards in Montagne de Reims, Marne valley and Côte des Blancs. Fermentation takes place partly in oak.
