The domain, in Mareuil-sur-Ay, has a strategic position between grand cru and premier cru vineyards in Cotes des Blancs, Marne valley and Montagne de Reims. Billecart Salmon owns one hundred hectares of vineyard; in addition to that the domain buys in fruit from growers for its annual production of about two million bottles.
In its very modern production cellar you will find a lot of stainless steel. Billecart Salmon developed its very own style by fermenting its grapes on a low temperature. Fermentation takes a while, a period of time in which the base wine acquires refined fruity aromas and lots of freshness.
Fruity, lively and fresh: Billecart Salmon champagnes are classic and modern at the same time.
