When Jean-Marc Sélèque took over the family domain in Pierry, just south of Epernay, he followed in the footsteps of his grandfather, who planted vineyards in 1965. After that, his father had started producing his own champagnes.
After work experience in Australia and the United States, Jean-Marc focused completely on champagne and made a name for himself as a vigneron. In seven villages in the Marne valley and Côte des Blancs he works over seven hectares of vineyards organically: mainly chardonnay (60%), meunier and a small amount of pinot noir.
