Only in good years, when the pinot noir grapes reach optimum maturity, Coessens produces this still red wine. Whole bunches from plot 'substance' in the Largillier vineyard are allowed twenty days of skin maceration, after that the wines ages in oak barrels for 33 months. No clarification or filtration.
Produced in low quantity: only 1113 bottles.
