This lovely elegant blanc de blancs is made of grapes from premier cru village Vertus and consists of three consecutive vintage years. Forty percent of the wine was vinified in older barriques, and malolactic fermentation was partially allowed. That is the backstory of this lively and complex champagne with its very fine mousse. 'Vendemiaire', or wine month, is the name of September in the French Republican calendar that was introduced in the late 18th century.
