Cuvee des Crayères
Blend of pinot noir and chardonnay grapes from five to six consecutive vintage years. About 25% of the wines was vinified in small oak barrels, about 75% has gone through malolactic fermentation, which gives the wine some softness. Different grape varieties, different ways to produce wine: Rodez shows that blending is an art in champagne that cannot be underestimated.
This basic cuvee is a wonderfully balanced, easy drinking champagne. Elegant and fruity, nice acidity.
