Ratafia champenois (0.5 liter)
In Champagne sweet fortified wine is made as well: ratafia. Alcohol is added to unfermented most (grape juice), which blocks fermentation. The result is a sweet alcoholic beverage.
Rodez makes this ratafia of pinot noir grapes. The wine ages in small oak barrels and is then added to a solera system, in which the vintages 2015 - 2019 are blended. The alcohol percentage is 17,5%.
Amber colored wine full of dried fruit and a nutty flavor, great with a dessert with dark chocolate or nuts.
