Les Rocheforts

Chardonnay champagne made of grapes from a vineyard with chalk soils: Les Rocheforts, in premier cru village Bisseuil, Montagne de Reims. Half of the wine gets some time on large oak casks, malolactic fermentation is allowed. In 2012 Étienne started a solera system just for Les Rocheforts: 25% of this champagne consists of this reserve wine.

Fresh and rich at the same time: a wonderful, lively champagne with nice freshness, a touch of brioche in the aroma, ripe yellow fruit in the finish.
