Vintage 2012 La cuvee des loups magnum (1.5 liter)
Lovely blend of pinot noir and chardonnay from the best premier cru vineyards the domain owns. The base wine is allowed a year of aging sur lie, on its lees; after second fermentation the champagne may stay in cellar for another four years. An exciting yet easy going champagne that shows us what style to expect from Guy Méa's new generation winemakers: dry and gastronomic.
Growing season 2012 started off as a challenge, with frost, hail and lots of rain, yet a warm summer and sunny August and September turned things around. 2012 is considered a very good year, the vintage champagnes are great to drink now.
