Largillier Les Sens Boisés
This smooth, bold champagne is made of pinot noir grapes from the plot in the Largillier vineyard that Coessens has called 'substance'. The grapes were picked at optimum maturity, received malolactic fermentation, and aged for at least eight months in older oak barrels from Chablis.
An elegant champagne with lots of flavour: think ripe yellow fruit, marmelade and spices. Lovely as a food champagne, a companion to flavourfull dishes, like a cheese platter with Munster and aged Gouda.
