Vintage 2009 brut nature Philippe Starck
A great combination: Roederer and Philippe Starck. Classic champagne domain Roederer is well known for its elegant, refined champagnes and its ecological engagement: the vineyards are worked organically or biodynamically. Designer Philippe Starck is famous for his interior an applied design. The two parties got together for this great, very dry champagne presented in a beautiful, eye catching box.
The grapes were picked in vintage year 2009, one fourth was vinified in oak and malolactic fermentation was blocked. The result is this wonderfully dry, fresh, complex champagne with roundness and a nice long finish. Slightly fresher than the Vintage 2006.
