In good years Pol Roger produces vintage champagnes of 60% pinot noir and 40% chardonnay from grand cru and premier cru vineyards. After second fermentation the champagne is allowed about seven years of aging in cellar.

This vintage champagne from 1982 has a respectable age, but in addition to ripe fruit and brioche it has freshness to offer as well. You would guess it younger. A great glass for lovers of aged champagnes.
