Vintage 2012 La Loge en maceration
Rose champagne made of pinot noir and chardonnay from old vines in south facing vineyards: les Fournettes and Noyer Saint Pys. The grapes received skin maceration for two days and were vinified in oak barrels. Malolactic fermentation was blocked to retain some acidity; with very low dosage this is a complex rose with nice freshness.
