About Perrier-Jouët
Perrier-Jouët champagnes are the result of inspiration from nature. Pierre-Nicolas Perrier and Rose-Adélaïde Jouët both had an enormous love for nature and art. A year after their wedding in 1811, the Maison Perrier-Jouët house was founded, with the idea of creating a unique champagne house. Generation after generation, their love for nature, art and champagne has continued and continues to be a source of inspiration for the production process to this day.
The house has the best vineyards on the Côte des Blancs, in the middle of the 'Golden Triangle' of the Champagne region. The terrain is ideal for Chardonnay grapes, from which the tastiest crus can be made. The vineyards are also rated at 99.2% on the Échelle des Crus quality scale.
The Perrier-Jouët house attaches great importance to sustainability and its impact on the environment. Naturally, this is in accordance with the philosophy of Piere-Nicolas and Rose-Adélaïde. In 2016, the house even received the HVE certificate from the French government.
