Dehours & Fils

Domaine Dehours & fils can be found in Cerseuil (Mareuil-le-Port), a tiny village on the south bank in the center of the Marne valley that stretches west of Épernay. This area is well suited for meunier: this late growing grape variety has a good resistance to spring frost, a risky factor that grape growers often have to deal with. Calling fourth generation wine producer Jerôme Dehours a 'master of meunier' is not an exaggeration: two thirds of this vineyards consist of meunier.
