Southern Aube, in Côte des Bar, is where domain Petit Clergeot is located. In 2017 Paul-Bastien Clergeot started, with no herbicides in the vineyards. Organic certification is expected from vintage 2021. The eight hectares of old vines are spread out over villages Polisot, Les Riceys and Balnot sur Lagne. 

Clergeot produces champagne in a way that is historically unusual: from a single vineyard, single grape variety, single vintage year. A young winemaker who we are happy to follow from the start, expecting a lot from his future wines. The vineyard is converting to organic viticulture since 2020.
